2017-18 Winter Sports Registration


REGISTER NOW FOR 2017 Winter CYO Sports at Saint Joseph School!

 Registration is open for the 2017 Winter CYO sports season!!! We are offering registration for the following winter sports:



3rd - 8th Grade Boys Basketball - Regular Registration $100, Late Registration $125

3rd - 8th Grade Girls Basketball - Regular Registration $100, Late Registration $125

3rd - 8th Grade Cheer - Regular Registration $60, Late Registration $85


Regular Registration Period: September 1st – September 30th.

Late Registration: October 1st - October 13th.


Practices start the first week of November and competitions start the first weekend in December.


Meet the coaches night will be October 24th in the gym at 6:30 p.m.


Sports dues are required to be paid at registration. If we do not have enough students and/or coaches for a given sport or team we will refund 100% of your registration dues. Registration will close for the 2017 CYO Winter Sports on October 13th, 2017.

The method for registration has changed. You have one option for registration which is listed below. The school office, rectory, and coaches will NOT be accepting registrations and will not have registration forms.

Online –Please visit and click on the blue “Register HERE” button found on the left side of the web page. You will be asked to create an account for Sports Pilot, the CYO athlete registration system. You will only need one account per family and can add multiple students to your account. Please have a credit/debit card available to pay your dues to complete registration. Online registration REQUIRES a date of the athlete’s last physical. 

If you do not have a date please enter 1/1/2000. The system will accept any date but please keep in mind we will still need the CYO Preparticipation Form completed by a physician on file in order for your child to be eligible for practices and games. This form needs to be submitted to Saint Joseph CYO prior to the first practice. CYO Preparticipation forms are good for 13 months from the date of the physician’s signature.

SPECIAL NOTE FOR COACHES:  If you are planning on being a coach for the upcoming winter season, please register yourself as a coach for the respective team you wish to coach in SportsPilot.  There is no fee to coach.


Saint Joseph CYO Golf Outing Presented by Top Level Martial Arts

On Friday, September 22, 2017, the St. Joseph Athletic Association will host the 2nd Annual St. Joseph Athletic Association Golf Outing Presented by Top Level Martial Arts at Brookledge Golf Club. This fun event supports a great cause and we are hoping you can participate by golfing, attending the dinner, partnering with us as a sponsor and/or a donor of a raffle/auction item(s).


The St. Joseph Athletic Association serves St. Joseph Parish athletes by creating teams, providing equipment, paying CYO team registration fees and providing practice locations for athletic activities for students in first grade to eighth grade. 


Your participation in this wonderful event will help us continue to provide every St. Joseph Parish student an opportunity to participate in athletics. Last year’s event had over 80 golfers and raised over $6,000 which helped purchase new basketballs for our teams, new cheer uniforms, flag football jerseys, coach’s shirts and paid for all post season tournament fees for our volleyball and basketballs teams.  We also sold out of our sponsorships last year, while offering over 40 auction/raffle items and great contests including beat the pro. 


Your donation is tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. We hope you can join us, make a donation and/or be a sponsor to make this year’s event even more successful than last year.   This year we plan to purchase new volleyball uniforms, volleyballs, additional coach’s shirts and general equipment plus continue to pay for all CYO Post Season fees and one additional tournament for each team.

2017 St. Josephs Fall Youth Basketball Camp

Directed by: Mike Tanner

 What:  Basketball camp designed to improve overall fundamentals and skills necessary for competitive team play. The camp will focus on Teamwork, Rebounding, Passing, Defense and Shooting.  All campers will receive a St. Joseph T-shirt.  A pizza party will be held at the end of the last camp, 10/30/17.

 Coach:  Coaches are VIRTUS trained and CYO certified coaches

Who:      Boys & Girls entering 3-8 grade

When:   Every Monday starting 10/9/17 to 10/30/17

 Time:     5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Where:   St. Josephs Gym, 1909 3rd St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.  Lower parking lot of the school.

Ensure You Have a Valid CYO Preparticipation Form On File

Did you know the CYO Preparticipation form is valid for 13 months from the date of the doctor's signature?  The best time to have your doctor complete this form is during the summer months as it ensure eligibility all school year long.  Your child will not be eligible to participate in practice or games without a valid CYO Preparticipation form on file with Saint Joseph CYO.  Please forward the form via the school office, the rectory, or online to
